About Me
Kaysen Hill
High School Senior,
Computer Programmer
My name is Kaysen Hill. I am a senior at Old Colony RVTHS, and I study in the computer science field. I’ve worked with several languages like JavaScript, Java, C#, and more to create a variety of applications, websites, and video games. I want to attend college to further my computer science, physics, and mathematics education to a higher degree. I’m most proud of the games that I have created. Of that being Sudoku(ReactJS), Part of Cookie Clicker(Unity), and Chess(Unity). I strive to use my love for technology and logic to make my impact on the video game industry and quantum technologies. I want to positively influence the development and expansion of both these industries to better allow the connection and bond between humans over technology.
My closest friends inspired me to do this because I want to share that deep bond and connection I forged with them with the whole world. While I know this won’t be as simple as switching on a lightbulb, I won’t give up, no matter what, until the impact I make on the video game industry changes the way we as humans can connect to those of us who are out of reach from each other. After high school, I want to attend a private college to further my understanding of the field while also exploring physics and mathematics. In college, I want to network with those who share similar passions to not only gain supporters, friends, and family, but also people who can push me to my computational, evaluational, and logical bounds so that I can continue to push the boundaries between what I know and what I have yet to learn.
After college, for me, is a weird position where I won’t really know where I’ll be going until I get there. The game industry would be an excellent field to have as some sort of side-hustle/side-gig while I focus on quantum technologies. The field is still new, and new things are being learnt and tested constantly. There isn’t a better time than now to make my impact and share my dream of interpersonal connection through technology with the world.
